J & A Finishing Company, Inc. began business in 1979 as a support contractor to various commercial industries and the military, specializing in electroplating, metal finishing and painting all under one roof.

It has always been the intent of J & A Finishing Company, Inc. to be a highly specialized type of service organization and to perform well in the "Quality and Service" areas.

Base on this philosophy, we have acquired and maintained a large customer base who is very confident that all workmanship performed by J& A is well above ordinary quality standards.

Over the years, J & A Finishing Company, Inc. has strived to keep step with "state of the art" processes, equipment, and training. This has involved working with our customer's engineering, design, purchasing, and quality staff to produce world class products.

It always has been and will continue to be J & A Finishing Company, Inc's goal to work toward preserving the environment. We have a state indirect discharge permit from the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) to operate a waste treatment system used to treat plating process wastewater. The treatment wastewater is discharged into the city of Huntsville's water pollution control plant. While this firm generates material classified as hazardous wastes, compliance is maintained with all applicable regulatory requirements.
